Step 1: Import/integrate submittals, materials and project schedule to ConstructivIQ. You can also create submittals and materials in the application itself.

Step 2: Establish links between the schedule activities, and the submittals and materials required for the execution of these activities. ConstructivIQ gives you a plan for all the submittal and material workflows based on the relationships established. 

Step 3: Track the progress of submittal and materials workflows. You will get information on the risk associated with the delays and the impact of the workflows on consecutive activities. 

To integrate submittals in Autodesk Construction Cloud® with ConstructivIQ, follow the below steps.

1. ACC Admins can find the ConstructivIQ ACC Integration in Account Administration under the "Apps" tab.
2. Select to add to your ACC Account.
3. Your ConstructivIQ Connection Integration is now active in ACC.

In ConstructivIQ, the setup is two-layered: 

• Subscription level 
• Project level 

Subscription Level Setup in ConstructivIQ

To execute this setup, you will need the below access: 

• Autodesk Construction Cloud Account Admin who is part of at least 1 Autodesk® Project

• ConstructivIQ subscription admin access 

Steps:

• Login to ConstructivIQ as subscription admin. 
• Navigate to Settings -> Integrations. In the Autodesk Construction Cloud card, click Configure. 
• An ACC login page will pop up, enter your Account Admin credentials.
• Choose the ACC account(s) you wish to connect with the ConstructivIQ subscription. Please note -
  • Only the projects under these ACC account(s) can be linked to projects under this ConstructivIQ subscription. 
• Add an email in the notification recipients field to receive alerts in case of data sync failures. 
• Click Submit. 

Once subscription level is setup, multiple projects can be setup independently as below.  

Project Level Setup in ConstructivIQ

To execute this setup, you will need the below access: 

• Project User having access to submittals of the ACC project you wish to connect  
• ConstructivIQ project admin access 

Steps:

• Login to ConstructivIQ. 
• Click Add Project, fill in the project details & choose Integration Mode -> Autodesk Construction Cloud. To take this step, you have to be a subscription admin or have ‘editor’ role. 
• If a project as mentioned above already exists, then click on the same after logging in. You have to be a project admin of the selected project.  
• Navigate to Settings -> Integrations. In the Autodesk Construction Cloud card, click Configure. 
• An ACC login page will pop up, enter your credentials to establish connection to the ACC project. This user must have access to view submittals in ACC. 
• Choose the ACC account where the ACC project is present. Note that, only the accounts configured in the Subscription level set up will be available for selection.  
• Choose the ACC project to connect with. 
• Add an email in notification recipients field to receive alerts in case of data sync failures. 
• Click Submit. 

This completes the setup for integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Once project level setup is complete, ACC project submittals will be synced to ConstructivIQ. This may take a few minutes. After the first data sync, consecutive data syncs will take place at midnight every day. 

You can link the submittals synced from ACC with materials and schedule activities in ConstructivIQ, to get submittal milestone deadlines.
