Step 1: Import/integrate submittals, materials and project schedule to ConstructivIQ. You can also create submittals and materials in the application itself.

Step 2: Establish links between the schedule activities, and the submittals and materials required for the execution of these activities. ConstructivIQ gives you a plan for all the submittal and material workflows based on the relationships established. 

Step 3: Track the progress of submittal and materials workflows. You will get information on the risk associated with the delays and the impact of the workflows on consecutive activities. 

To integrate submittals in Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud®) with ConstructivIQ, follow the below steps.  

In Autodesk, the Account Admin should: 

1. Go to Account Admin and find the ConstructivIQ App under ‘Apps’ menu. 
2. Find and install the ConstructivIQ app to add the app to your ACC/Forma Account. Once installed, the ConstructivIQ app should appear under the tab ‘My Apps’.  

In ConstructivIQ, the setup is two-layered:  

• Subscription level  
• Project level  

Subscription Level Setup in ConstructivIQ 

To execute this setup, you will need the below access:  

• Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) Account Admin who is part of at least one Autodesk® Project 
• Subscription Admin access in ConstructivIQ  

Steps: 

• Login to ConstructivIQ as a Subscription Admin.  
• Go to Settings > Integrations.  
• Click Add Integration. 
• Select a name for the Integration you want to add.  
• Select Integration Type as Autodesk Forma/Autodesk Construction Cloud and click Next.  
• An ACC login page will pop up, enter the credentials of a Forma/ACC Account Admin. 
• Choose the Forma/ACC account you wish to connect with the ConstructivIQ subscription. 
• In the Notification Recipients field, enter the Email IDs of members who need to receive alerts in case of data sync failures.  
• Click Save. 

Follow the above steps to integrate with multiple Autodesk accounts.  

Once subscription level integration is setup, multiple projects, which belong to the accounts integrated as above, can be setup independently by following the below steps. 

Project Level Setup in ConstructivIQ 

To execute this setup, you will need the below access:  

• Project Admin who is also a Submittal Manager in the Forma/ACC project you wish to connect   
• Project Admin access in ConstructivIQ

Steps: 

• Login to ConstructivIQ.  
• Click Add Project and fill in the project details. Select Integration Mode to be Submittal Management Mode. 
• If a project as mentioned above already exists, then click on the same after logging in. You have to be a Project Admin of the selected project.   
• Navigate to Settings > Integrations.  
• Click Add Integration. 
• Select a name for the Integration you want to add.  
• Select Integration Type as Autodesk Forma/Autodesk Construction Cloud and click Next.  
• A Forma/ACC login page will pop up, enter your credentials. The user credentials used must have access to view submittals in the Autodesk project. 
• Choose the Forma/ACC account where the Forma/ACC project is present. Note that, only the accounts configured in the Subscription level set up will be available for selection.   
• Choose the Forma/ACC project to connect with.  
• In the Notification Recipients field, enter the Email IDs of members who need to receive alerts in case of data sync failures.  
• Click Submit.  

This completes the setup for integration with Autodesk Forma (Formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud). 

Once project level setup is complete, Forma/ACC project submittals will be synced to ConstructivIQ. This may take a few minutes. After the first data sync, consecutive data syncs will take place at midnight every day.  

You can link the submittals synced from Forma/ACC with materials and schedule activities in ConstructivIQ, to get submittal milestone deadlines.
