BIM Holoview Issue Tracking is an Autodesk® BIM 360® application that connects BIM Holoview’s HoloLens and Oculus Quest 2 application to BIM 360 to raise and manage issues.

General Usage Instructions

BIM 360 Admins can find the BIM Holoview Issue Tracking BIM 360 Integration in Account Administration under the “Apps” tab. Select to add to your BIM 360 Account.

 

Your BIM Holoview Issue Tracking Integration is now active in BIM 360.

Login onto the BIM Holoview Account

Link your BIM Holoview Account with your BIM 360 Account through the following steps:

  1. Go to the My Account Menu
  2. Expand the ‘Manage your Account’ section
  3.  Click the Link BIM 360 account
  4.  Sign in with your Autodesk Credentials

 

Create a new project in BIM Holoview and link that to the respective project in BIM 360 through the following steps:

  1. Go to the Projects menu
  2. Click the Add new project Link
  3. Enter a name for a project
  4. Select the ‘Link to BIM 360 Project’ checkbox and select the respective BIM 360 Project from the drop-down. Note: if the checkbox is disabled or the drop-down is empty it indicates a permission issue with accessing your BIM 360 project

Either transfer an existing model to your project or upload a new model to your project in BIM Holoview.

Start the BIM Holoview application on your HoloLens 2 or Oculus Quest 2, download the model and place it in your environment in 1:1.

If you see an issue with either the model or actual build press the Add Issue Button, select the Type and enter a name and a description of the issue.  If required you can take a picture of the issue and then click Submit.

The issue and the image attachment will be uploaded to BIM Holoview and automatically synchronized to BIM 360 Docs as an Issue with an Image as an attachment

You can edit the text of the issue and change the status of the issue to be Closed, but this may take up to 10 minutes to synchronize back to BIM Holoview.
