Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) directly from BIM models. Automate the bulk of WBS creation by using information in the model.
General Usage Instructions
- Nirmaan Client domain integration:
The Nirmaan client domain will be integrated with Autodesk Construction Cloud® (ACC) by the account admin (in coordination with the vConstruct Project Manager). - Creating a new project:
When a user wants to create a new project, they can use the ACC option, which authenticates the user on Autodesk’s side and fetches all available projects. - Accessing models from ACC:
Once a project is created, users can access all BIM models from ACC and fetch them into NirmaanXD for use. - Version handling:
Only the latest version of each model can be accessed. - Activity configuration:
The Activity Configuration module allows users to set up activities by scope of work. - Assign models based on properties
- Define predecessors and successors
- Assign activity types
- Calendar management:
Define calendars both locally and globally to manage working days, shifts, and schedule accuracy across projects. - Generate WBS structures automatically from model data.
- Review and refine generated WBS elements using activity and productivity templates.
- Extract quantities automatically, directly linked to model elements.
- Visualize areas in 2D and 3D to validate breakdowns.
- Manage scenarios to compare different project approaches.
- Assign users, define roles, and collaborate seamlessly.
