Authorizations

Read and write access to Document Management, including access to folders, documents, and models.

Permissions necessary:

• Autodesk account:

  • Account Administrator to install Naska.AI App in BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction cloud Apps.

  • Project Administrator to integrate Naska.AI platform to BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction cloud.

• Naska.AI account:

  • Naska.AI Admin to connect projects to the Naska.AI platform.

Requisites:

• The Naska.AI app must be added and activated in the Autodesk app store by a BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud Account Administrator.
  Note: If you haven’t installed the App, you won’t be able to connect the project.
  You will see an error message: “Activate the Naska.AI app on Autodesk“.

Instructions:

Activating the Autodesk integration:

• Go to the “Project Management“ section.

• On the menu, select the “Integrations“ tab.

• Once on the Integrations page, look for the Autodesk card. Click on “Connect project“.

• Autodesk’s “Authorize Application“ window will pop up. Click on “Allow“
  Note: In case you don’t see the “Authorize Application“ window, check for blocked pop-up windows in your browser’s navigation bar.

• On the “Autodesk Integration” window, select your hub and project from Autodesk to link it to your Naska.AI project.

• You'll see the project successfully connected.

Importing models from Autodesk:

• Go to the “Project Management“ section.

• On the menu, select the “Models“ tab.

• Click on the “+ Import model” button. Select either “Import from BIM 360“ or “Import from ACC“, depending on your case.

• The “Import from Autodesk” window will pop up. Select the models you want to import using the checkbox.

• Click on the “Import from Autodesk” button.

• You will see your successfully imported model on the model’s list.
