Tailwater Limited
Utility for setting polyline elevations based on intersecting profile.

General Usage Instructions

User creates an alignment and bankfull, water surface, or terrace elevation profile along the alignment through a method of the user's choosing.

Polylines are then drawn perpendicular to the direction of flow across a valley and intersecting the alignment.

The user then uses the PROFILETOPOLYLINE tool to assign the elevation from the profile at the intersection of the polyline and the alignment to the polyline.

A reference surface is then created using the polylines as breaklines.

A volume surface comparing the existing or design surface to the reference condition can be used to generate relative elevation maps.
