Overall, the idea is to mark drawing objects with its properties, to calculate objects by type, layer, length or area.
All created mtext can be exported directly in a csv file. Automatically you can open exported CSV-file in Excel or notepad.
- First create mtext with your properties you want to show: use command xtext
- Select single (select mtext-Position) or multiple drawing objects.
- Export mtext to csv-file with command xexport
- Open it in Excel or notepad

Take a choice of properties you want to have in listresult as Mtext. Combine properties as Object -type, -layer, -length, -area. Then you can single select drawing objects and pick position or multiple select the drawing objects (here creates Mtext by startpostion of drawing object) |

Exports the created Mtext with the properties of picked drawing objects. For example: Type: Line Layer: ExampleLayer Length: 12,25 Area: 0,00 all these properties resides in one Mtext. Run command and select Mtext you want save/export in a csv-file. After saving you can automatically open created file in Excel or notepad. |
Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from Autodesk App Store has already installed the plug-in. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the plug-in.
To uninstall this plug-in, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
