Transferring coordinates from Autodesk® Civil 3D® to Autodesk® Revit®

General Usage Instructions

The plugin called ModelPoint has main menu with several controls as buttons. The main purpose of the plugin is to specify the building number and elevation, to set the building axis coordinate by clicking on “Click point” button and then to save the XML file.

By default, the file is saved to a path according to the ISO standard. The file is saved along the path: "C:\Users\\Documents". However, the saving path can always be changed by clicking on "Select Folder" button.

This command launches the plugin's main menu.

Installation/Uninstallation

The product is installed in %ProgramData%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\CoordC3DbyRVT.bundle

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently starting it, simply restart the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall it as you would do any other application from your system.
