One Click LCA for Autodesk® Civil 3D®
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Prerequisites & Import Options
A user can use the plugin, but to utilise exported data, they have the following options:
Option 1. Upload data directly to own One Click LCA project.
This requires user having an appropriate active commercial or trial One Click LCA license and an appropriate project on One Click LCA. For this, ensure you have a private project in One Click LCA before starting the import process. See how to create a project in One Click LCA here. See the license requirements for importing data here. See how to get a free trial version
Option 2. Send data to another user to upload to One Click LCA.
This requires the other user to have an appropriate license. See more info on this process here.
How to use the Autodesk® Civil 3D® Integration

1. Once you install One Click LCA integration, open Civil 3D. You will see a new tab called “ONE CLICK LCA”. Clicking on that tab, you will see a button named “Export to One Click LCA”. This will open the One Click LCA plugin. If you can not see the tab after you run the installer, please see the "known issues" section.
2. Once the plugin is open, you can select the data you want to export for Corridors, Pipe networks, Blocks and Surfaces.
3. For corridors, the alignments need to have sample line groups and material lists defined, or they will not appear in the list.
4. For each object, users can see their detailed content inside the plugin by clicking on “Materials” button for the relevant row.
5. For each alignment, the plugin will automatically pick all the available material lists. If the plugin identified duplicate Corridor shapes in multiple material lists in the same alignment, the export will be blocked and the relevant alignments, material lists, and materials will be highlighted in red (as below). In this case, the user needs to adjust “Material list” selections so that they do not contain duplicate materials.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note, if the user makes any changes in the model, they need to restart the plugin to get the updated data.
6. Once the user is ready to export the data, they need to click on “LCA in Cloud”. Then the standard import process will be launched. More information about the import process is available in separate articles.
