Lumion LiveSync works by syncing your AutoCAD project with Lumion.  

After downloading and installing the free LiveSync plugin, simply go to your Add-ins tab and click on Lumion LiveSync to open the app. Make sure you are in a 3D view and click on the Play button to start the live synchronization. 

With the Lumion LiveSync for AutoCAD plugin, you can:  

• Synchronize your 3D model in AutoCAD and Lumion
• Instantly visualize changes to your 3D model in real-time
• Synchronize and visualize the project’s materials
• Synchronize the AutoCAD and Lumion cameras
• Automatically import your 3D model into Lumion
• Export your 3D model as COLLADA (*.dae) files 

If you use AutoCAD 2017-2024 for your 3D modeling, the Lumion LiveSync for AutoCAD plugin is free and easy to install.  

To install LiveSync, you can download the installer from the LiveSync for the AutoCAD page on the Autodesk App Store. The installer may begin automatically. If not, double-click the downloaded installer to begin. 

You may need to restart your Autodesk AutoCAD program to activate the LiveSync app/plug-in. 

To uninstall Lumion LiveSync for AutoCAD, exit AutoCAD if you are currently running it and simply rerun the installer you downloaded from the Autodesk App Store. Select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
