QuickVolumes

QuickVolumes

Win64, English

Vantec Solutions
QuickVolumes quickly calculates the cumulative volume of a lake, pond or a reservoir and creates a table that shows the stage and accumulated volumes at a user-defined elevation interval.

General Usage Instructions

The app interface allows the user to select the bathymetric surface from a list or to select it in the drawing. After selecting the surface, the app will automatically display the surface minimum and maximum elevation. This elevation range can be changed by the user. The user must also specify the elevation interval (stage).

After clicking the “Generate Table” button, the app will generate an elevation-volume table for the specified elevation range, at the user-defined elevation interval. These volumes are calculated by creating TIN Volume Surfaces. This table can be exported to a Microsoft Excel file by clicking the “Export Table to Excel” button.

The Create Surfaces checkbox allows the user to keep the TIN volume surfaces after creating the elevation-volume table. The user must specify the surface style for the new surfaces. The plugin will automatically name the surfaces using the elevation interval. If the checkbox is not checked, the app will destroy the surfaces.
