
TA Solids Extractor

Accessing the Plugin

After successfully installing the application, open Civil 3D.

Navigate to the "TA Solutions" ribbon tab that has been added to your workspace.

In this tab, you will find the "TA Solids Extractor" panel containing the buttons for the plugin's features.
To Extract Solids from Surfaces

Click the "Surface Solids" button to open the extraction window.

Select the surfaces you wish to process. You can select multiple items from the list, use the "Select All" button, or pick them directly from the drawing.

In the properties section, enter the desired depth for the solids. Use a negative value to extend the solid in the downward direction.

Next, select a layer and a color for your new solids. You have the option to use the layer's color or select a custom color.

Choose your output location: either the "Current Drawing" or an "External File".

Click "Create". A progress screen will appear, and you will be notified when the extraction is complete.
To Extract Solids from Corridors

Click the "Corridor Solids" button from the ribbon panel.

Select the corridors you want to process from the list or by using the selection buttons to pick from the drawing.

Choose your output location, either the "Current Drawing" or an "External File".

Click "Create" to generate the corridor solids in just a few clicks.

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the
"Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
