Multi Surface Profiles

Multi Surface Profiles

Win64, English

Digi-Ants
Create surface profiles of many alignments with one click.

General Usage Instructions

Launch the program from ribbon/Add-In tab or using command TTH_MultiSurfaceProfile.

This plug-in helps users in creating surface profiles (not profile view) of many alignments with one click in Autodesk® Civil 3D®. Naming a template is also supported.

  1. On the tree view, check surface(s) under each alignment that you want to create surface profile(s). You can select as many surfaces for each alignment and as many alignments as you want.

  2. Under Profile properties section, select properties such as layer, style and label style for all surface profiles to be created.

  3. Under Profile Name formatting template, specify a name for all surface profiles. By default, the surface profile's name will be the same as the Surface Name. You can use combination of property fields and text just like in normal Civil 3D. The supported properties include Surface Name, Alignment Name and Next Counter. For example, if the Name is entered as AA-{Surface Name}, the created surface profile will be named AA-EG, in which EG is the selected surface.
If "Auto resolve name conflict" is selected, the surface profiles which have the same name with other profiles will be added a number at the end to avoid duplicate name.

  4. Select Create Profiles to start creating surface profile(s). The result will be shown in the list at the bottom of the window.
