Civil CAD Learning Solutions Tools

Win64, English

Civil CAD Learning Solutions, LLC
A variety of productivity tools for use with Autodesk® Civil 3D® for parking counts, part description renaming, dry utility modeling, relinking drawing, labels at intersections and more.

General Usage Instructions

Label at Intersection and Update

This command adds surface labels at selected feature lines or polylines at the intersections. This automates the laborious process of adding repetitive labels needed for airfield pavements, gas stations, or other similar projects.

Label at Vertices

This command inserts surface labels at all vertices along selected feature lines or polylines. This makes it easy to quickly add labels for plan production.

Relink Xrefs

A tool that re-path or relink external reference drawing paths for base drawing or drawing plan sheets. This tool assists in remapping XREFs for multiple drawings at once. The find and replace feature makes it quick and easy to modify the paths without having to replace the entire string.

Profile Thickness and Update

This command applies a design profile thickness to each profile view. This tool makes it easy to show thicknesses of pavement on the profile view to meet plan requirements or check for pipe cover requirements visually.

Parking Count and Update

This tool creates a parking count table-based line and curve labels. This automates the laborious process of counting parking lot spaces. This tool takes line and curve labels that show the number of parking spaces represented and turns them into a table.

Pavement Quantities, Edit, and Update

A tool to report pavement quantities based on hatches. Select the hatches and place a table showing the area and cubic yardage of the pavement. This makes it quick and easy to create exhibits. When the design changes, the table can update to reflect the new areas. Use the tool to quickly find hatches that don’t have areas.

Rename Parts

This tool allows the designer to rename multiple pipes, structures, or both on the fly through a simple dialog box. This allows for taking generic part names and convert them into the applicable BIM descriptions.

Dry Utility BIM

The tool creates multiple pipe networks simultaneously for the dry utilities in trench such as gas, electric, telephone, cable, or other utility.  The pipes can also be created stacked in layers. Easily create more detailed models of infrastructure improvements.

Highlight Pipes

The command highlights a pipe or structure with dashes when working in plan and profile view. This allows the designer the see the same object location in both plan and profile views. The tool makes it easier to figure out if the pipe or structure in plan is the same one in a profile view and vise versa.

Multi-Profiles

The command creates surface profiles for existing alignments in a drawing along with profile views.

Create Multiple Pipe Networks

The command creates multiple pipe networks from selected objects.

Create Street Profiles

The command creates multiple layout profiles, profile views, and alignments.

Pipe Network Alignment

This tool assigns the closest alignment to the selected pipes and structures. This makes it easy to assign the appropriate alignment to pipes and structures.

Create Plans

This tool creates blocks to represent the desired locations of plans. Use the Create Sheets to create the drawings after verifying the size and locations of the sheets.

Create Sheets

This tool creates drawings for the sheets created in the Create Plans tool.

Renumber Sheets

This tool renumbers the sheets within a sheet set.

Commands

Ribbon/Toolbar Icon Command Command Description

LABELINT

The Label at Intersection command will place surface labels at the intersection points of selected objects such as featurelines or polylines. In addition, the designer also has an options to select the same objects through and X-ref.

LabelsAtIntersectionsUpdate

The Label Update command will update the location of surface labels previously placed by the Labels At Intersection or Label at Vertices tool.

LABELVERT

The Label at Vertices command will allow you to insert surface labels along a featureline or polyline at every vertices such deflection angles or curves.

RLKXREF

The command will relink external references by replacing characters in the saved path with new ones. You will have the ability to relink bases drawing or sheet drawings.

DPT

The command will allow the designer to apply one or multiple layers of material thickness to design profile within a profile.

DPTU

This command will update the profile thickness if the selected design profile has changed.

PK

The Parking Count command will count the number of parking lot spaces based on Civil 3D line and curve labels. The labels should be set up with an expression to divide the length of the object by the width of a parking lot spot. After purchase, the user will have access to down load several pre-set line and curb labels.

PKU

The Parking Count Update command will update the number of parking lot spaces based on Civil 3D line and curve labels that were previously selected or by style name.

PVMTQ

Creates a table of pavement areas, and optionally volume, of selected hatches representing pavement types.

PVMTQU

This command updated the parking quantity table.

PVMTQE

This command allows the user to make edits to the pavement quantities.

PARTDC

The command will change the descriptions of selected pipes and structures.

DRYUTILITYBIM

This command allows the user to create multiple parallel pipe network following an alignment or polyline. In addition, it will allow you to create layers of utility pipes.

HLTP

This command when turned on, will highlight a selected pipe in plan and profile.

MMPIPE

Creates multiple pipe networks and alignments from selected objects (polylines, alignments, feature lines, or survey figures).

CCLSProfiles

Creates surface profiles, profile views, assigns profile view band information, and profile view cut\fill hatches.

CCLSStreetProfiles

Creates Layout Profiles for the selected alignments. If polylines, 3D Polylines, Feature Lines, or Survey Figures are selected the command will convert them into alignments. Profile Views are created for the created profiles.

Polyline Quantities

Reports the lengths of objects by layer and/or linetype.

Pipe Network Quantity Take-off

Reports pipe lengths and structure county by pipe network.

Create Sheets

Creates sheets to represent plan sheets.

Create Plans

Creates blocks and views that represent sheets.

DSToggle

A command to toggle between multiple data shortcut folders based on the location of the drawing.

SetDSAndAssociateToProject

A command to set the current working folder and data shortcut project based on the drawing save location and associates the drawing to the project.

CreateDataReferences

Creates all data references for a project in the current drawing.

CreateDSs

Creates all of the available data shortcuts for the currently open drawing into the currently set data shortcut project.

GetDSInfo

Returns the data shortcut information for the selected objects to the command line.

Installation/Uninstallation
