Usage Instructions – Tables to CSV

Type frm at the AutoCAD command prompt, and the dialog will appear.

1. Select the number of columns in your table and press Select.

2. Click to select the text columns, then right-click or press Enter.

3. The text will appear in the data grid.

4. Press Transform to reconstruct the columns. You can copy from the grid or the textbox and save to CSV.

Make sure your table is not rotated, as the tool relies on the text origin coordinates.
Try to keep columns neatly aligned. If needed, extract columns individually and combine in Excel.

You can now use AI to scan a screenshot or image of a table and extract the data automatically — great for scanned PDFs or printouts.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plugin from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plugin. Or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plugin. To uninstall this plugin, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. Or, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
