TL Polyline to Profile
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Launch the program from ribbon/Add-In tab or using command TLP2P.
Pick a polyline object to be used as a profile and an alignment objects to generate the profile on. You can also specify station and elevation offsets or leave the default values as zero.
Version 2021.6.13.1 updates:
- Vertical scale factor can now be specified to support polylines drawn at vertically exaggerated profile views
- Station/elevation offsets as well as vertical scale factor values are now retained and preset as defaults at subsequent command invocations
The program will not ask the user for alignment/profile styles or label sets. The first available style definitions in the drawing will be used. These can be changed afterwards.

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
Additional Information
Known Issues
The generated profile is NOT dynamically linked to the original polyline object. Subsequent changes to the polyline object will not be reflected in the profile geometry.
Curved segments in the polyline are ignored - the program only uses the vertex data from the polyline object.
C3D profiles cannot have points with multiple elevations - if the polyline contains such points (ie vertical segments or going backwards) the conversion will fail.
