Accessing the Tool
- Start the Application
- Type PGT_HEAD_Wall in the Autodesk® AutoCAD® command line and press Enter.
- Navigate to the "HEAD WALL" tab in the AutoCAD menu.
Using the Tool Interface
- Open the Tool Interface
- Open the tool interface to begin creating head walls.
- Input Options
- Head Wall Configuration
- Choose between small or large headwalls.
- Select with or without a toe beam.
- Opening Type
- Choose Circular or Rectangular openings.
- Additional Features
- Add a handrail if required.
Drawing Output Options
- Output Settings
- Output Types
- Generate "All" (Plan, Elevation, Section, and 3D views) or "Only 3D" views.
- Unit Options
- Specify units for calculations (mm or cm).
- Output Types
Creating Drawings
- Generate Drawings
- Define lifter marks, locations, and other necessary details for Plan and Elevation views.
- Click the "Create" button to generate the outputs.
Viewing Outputs
Review Output - View the generated drawings, including 3D views, to ensure all specifications are met.

Enter Command: Type the designated command in the AutoCAD command line or activate it from the menu. Input Values: After initiating the command, a user interface will prompt you to input specific values relevant to the shop drawing you wish to create. Apply Button: Once you've inputted the required values, click the "Apply" button within the user interface to initiate the drawing creation process. Shop Drawing Creation: Upon clicking "Apply," the command will process the input values and generate the shop drawing based on the provided parameters. Review and Save: Review the generated shop drawing to ensure it meets your requirements. You can then save the drawing to your desired location for further use or distribution. |

FNDCOG |
Enter Command: Type "FNDCOG" into the AutoCAD command line or activate it through the software's menu or toolbar. Select 3D View: After initiating the command, the user will be prompted to select a 3D view within the AutoCAD environment. This could be a specific perspective or orientation of the 3D model. COG Creation: Upon selecting the desired 3D view, the command will calculate and generate the Center of Gravity (COG) for the objects or components visible in that view. The COG represents the point at which the total weight of a 3D object is considered to be concentrated. Output: The COG coordinates or marker will be displayed within the selected 3D view. Further Actions: Users can utilize the calculated COG for various purposes, such as structural analysis, placement optimization, or design validation. |
Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
