Program for device modeling, dimensioning and simulation

General Usage Instructions

The SOLIDOS program allows parametric modeling of devices, facilitating infrastructure design. It is possible, for example, to model hydraulic ladders, which is not possible with pipe network. With an interface similar to Subassembly Composer, it is easy to create complex geometries, with loopings, conditionals, mathematical expressions and more.

The program allows making geometry checks, dimensioning of drainage and sewage networks and checking interference.

Easily create material lists with the dimensions of the catalogs of DNIT and DER-SP type projects already included in the program. Create and edit your own templates easily.

Create styles with textures for rendering, add property sets automatically with all the features of the devices and view in Autodesk® Navisworks® in rich detail.

Import entire pipe network networks sized in C3DRENESG4 or Gravity Networks and include all devices that have not been modeled in PipeNetwork.

Create dynamic tables and reports for networks, devices and basins. Draw on the screen, and export in html or MS Excel.

Link device properties in property sets and enrich the view in Navisworks

Note: To launch the license broswer run the command SOLIDOSREGISTER.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

You will be entitled to try the program for free for 15 days from the first login, under the terms of the license agreement that accompanies the program

Additional Information

The SOLIDOS program runs on Civil 3D 2016 and higher

Implement your own Toolspace with tabs for the prospector, settings, properties and sizing. It is not yet possible to embed the program in the Civil 3D Toolspace.

The modeling interface is similar to Subassembly Composer, which makes learning a lot easier. All devices included in the catalog are open for viewing and editing.

There is no link between TBN2NET and Autodesk®. Any support regarding the SOLIDOS program must be made through the channels informed at https://tbn2net.com

Support for Civil 3D, may be hired separately.

Known Issues

The program imports Pipenetwork networks from Civil 3D, as long as the device and property mapping is correctly configured.

The dimensioning of drainage networks is done in the rational and modified rational method, following the HEC-22 (the same for Gravity Network and C3DRENESG4)

The dimensioning of sewage networks is done using the contribution method in progress (used in C3DRENESG4), adopted by the main concessionaires in Brazil
