Leica Civil Job Converter
This application will convert Civil 3D objects into the Leica DBX format for use on Leica Geosystems data collectors and total stations that use the DBX for raw data storage. The supported onboard systems include Captivate, Viva and System 1200. The DBX can also be used in the office software packages Leica Geo Office and Leica Infinity.
The application is launched through entering the command LEICAEXPORT.
You must select the type of Data you would like to export. The options include
o Points
o Lines & Areas
o Road Geometry
o DTM
o Parcels
o Code
Next specify the Leica DBX job that you would like to export this data into. You can export data into an existing job or define a new job to be created. There are different types of Leica DBXs, and if exporting to an existing DBX you must choose one that corresponds with the type of data being exported. The three types of DBX supported are:

Points
Select the Civil 3D Point Group to export. Settings: option to use Point Name instead of Point ID. Define a standard Leica job to receive export.
Lines & Areas
Select Alignments and Parcels for export. Settings: Use layer name for lines/areas id; export lines/areas vertices as separate control points. Define a standard Leica job to receive export.
Road geometry
Select Alignments, Sites and Corridors for export. Define a Leica Road job to receive export.
DTM
Select Surfaces for export. Define a Leica DTM job to receive export.
Parcels
Select Sites for export. Define a standard Leica job to receive export.
Codes
Select Description Key Set for export. Define a standard Leica job to receive export.

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
