3D Print Pro

Mac OS, English

Jerome Briot
An extended version of the 3D Print utility shipped with Autodesk Fusion®.

General Usage Instructions

After installing the add-in, select "3D Print Pro" under the MAKE menu.

Click on the information icon at the bottom of the dialog to view the help file.

Step 1: set the global settings
First, you have to set the global settings:
  • Units
  • File
  • Output
  • Graphics
These settings are saved so you don't have to edit them every time you export an object.

Step 2: set the object settings
Next, you have to set the settings for each object to export on a design.
  • Selection
  • Orientation
  • Scale
  • Mesh
  • Information
These settings are saved so you don't have to edit them every time you export an object.

Step 3: export to STL file or to 3D print utility
For the last step, just click on "Export to STL File". This will use the global settings and export all objects that have settings linked to them.
Note that if the global and the object settings are already set, this is the only action you have to perform.
