mSt sketchTools

mSt sketchTools

Win64, English

mSt sketchTools for Autodesk® Fusion 360™ contains helpful features for editing existing parametric designs and assemblies.

General Usage Instructions

Once installed, the mSt sketchTools panel is positioned at the far right toolbar area and contains three commands:

  1. Break sketch-links
  2. Source of sketch-plane
  3. Measure sketch-curves

If necessary, adjust the Fusion 360 dialog to the appropriate size by dragging the lower-right corner.

1) Break sketch-links

  • To execute the command an active/open (->Edit Sketch) and the parametric sketch is needed.

2) Source of sketch-plane

  • To execute the command an active/open (->Edit Sketch) and the parametric sketch is needed.
  • For enhanced clarity, the name of the top-level component will always be displayed as "root".
  • After completion of the command (by pressing OK) the highlighted source-plane will still be selected - so the user can apply standard Fusion 360 commands for selected objects (for example right-mouse-click and then choose "Find in Browser").

3) Measure sketch-curves

  • No restrictions apply where to start the command.
  • Pre-selected elements will be ignored. The command requires the selection of any sketch-curve - the connected curves are then determined automatically. The result is shown in the dialog and the user can select another curve by clicking it without pressing OK.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You can unload the add-in without uninstalling it by clicking the "Stop" button when the add-in is selected in the list box on the "Add-Ins" tab of the "Scripts and Add-Ins" dialog.

Unchecking "Run on Startup" causes the add-in not to be loaded in future sessions of Fusion 360.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button.

OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8.1/10), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
