How to use the 5th Axis workholding add-in?

1. Install the Add-In

    Download and install the add-in from the Autodesk® App Store. Restart Autodesk® Fusion® if prompted.

2. Launch the Configurator

    Open Fusion and go to UTILITIES > 5th Axis Workholding to launch the tool.

3. Select Your Machine

    Choose your CNC machine or table size from the menu. The configurator will automatically filter compatible 5th Axis workholding products.

4. Explore Workholding Options

    Browse vises, RockLock plates, dovetail fixtures, and other compatible products.

    Use the embedded 3D viewer to rotate, zoom, and inspect each item in real time.

5. Add to Your Setup

    Insert selected components directly into your Fusion design environment to validate fit, reach, and collision clearance.

6. Checkout Without Leaving Fusion

    When ready, proceed directly to purchase through the integrated checkout—no browser switching required.

7. Save & Reuse Configurations

    Save your chosen workholding setups for future projects or quickly modify an existing configuration.

Install:

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

Uninstall:

You can unload the add-in without uninstalling it by clicking the "Stop" button when the add-in is selected in the list box on the "Add-Ins" tab of the "Scripts and Add-Ins" dialog.

Unchecking "Run on Startup" causes the add-in not to be loaded in future sessions of Fusion.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button.

OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
