Export to CAMplete application helps to send Autodesk® Fusion 360™ CAM toolpaths to CAMplete TruePath for toolpath simulation and verification.

General Usage Instructions

Open the Fusion CAM model, which needs to be exported to CAMplete.

In the Milling Tab of Manufacture workspace, select the 'Export to CAMplete' option from the CAMplete Dropdown panel.

Project Name: Name of the project. It uses the Fusion project name by default.

Project Folder: Select the folder where the CAMplete project file will be stored.

Machine Selection: If an active version of CAMplete TruePath found, avaliable machine files will be listed here. Select the corresponding machine file.

NC Format: If an active version of CAMplete TruePath and valid machine file found, avaliable post processor files will be listed here. Select the corresponding post file.

Setup Configuration

Post by:

       Select 'Setup' to post the toolpaths for each setup.

       Select 'Operation' to post the toolpaths for each toolpath.

Select the toolpaths/ Setup that needs to send to camplete in the dropdown table.

Note*: Only a single setup can be selcated at a time if the post by type is set to 'Setup'. if post by type is set to 'Operations' it allows to select multiple toolpaths from multiple setups.

CAMplete Configuration

Offset method:

          Use Auto Align: The part and fixture model will get placed automatically in the center of the machine table inside CAMplete.

          Use Manual Offset: The part and fixture model will be placed relative to global part origin (WCS origin) and it will be offset by the values in the XYZ table. 

          Use Fixture Attachment: The part and fixture model will be placed relative to fixture coordinate system (you can define the fixture attachment point while creating setup)

          None: The part and fixture will get placed relative to the global part origin (WCS origin).

Open Camplete: Opens the camplete.exe automatically after post processing the files. This option will be disabled if application could not find a valid camplete installation file.

Auto Complete import: This option allows to select automatically the machine model and post processor file while opening the CAMplete TruePath and places the model in the machine, at a defined location and regenerates all the toolpaths for simualtion. By default, the value will be true.

Export Part: Enable this option to export the part model to camplete.

Export Fixture: Enable this option to export the fixture model which is used in the setup to camplete.

Export Stock: Enable this option to export the stock model which is defined in the setup to camplete.

Click 'Push to CAMplete' once you are done with the selections. If 'Open CAMplete' is enabled, then CAMplete TruePath application will be opened in a moment, else the project folder will be opened after successful creation of project.

Installation/Uninstallation

Install:

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. Or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

Uninstall:

You can unload the add-in without uninstalling it by clicking the "Stop" button when the add-in is selected in the list box on the "Add-Ins" tab of the "Scripts and Add-Ins" dialog.

Unchecking "Run on Startup" causes the add-in not to be loaded in future sessions of Fusion 360.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button.

Known Issues

To List the machine files or the NC format files in the application, the machine file should have been used atleast once in the CAMplete TruePath.
