FASTENER CRAFT suite for mold design

FASTENER CRAFT suite for mold design

Win64, English

AIG PLASTICS
Creates a socket head screw, flat head screw, and shoulder socket head screw with DIN standards.

General Usage Instructions

Fasterner craft command icons are located beside the scripts and add-ins command icons.

When you click on any of the three fastener icons you go straight and select the nominal diameter of the screw

Select the length of the screw.

There is a built-in function that prevents you from selecting a screw length that is not DIN standard length for a particular diameter.

You can as well select a custom length this allows you to create a screw length of your choice that is within the range, you can input your custom length in any unit of your choice. please note that whatever values you input for the custom length are saved and for the first time you select custom length the default value is automatically selected you can change it by closing the command and running the command again.

The input function 'distance_from_origin' enables you to move the screw away from the origin to a perfect view position where you can be able to create an array for the screws and assemble the screws to the point where it is needed in the main component. so before selecting the screw, calculate the distance away from the origin that will be suitable for you to array and assemble the screw.

You can input any unit of your choice for the  'distance_from_origin'

Please note that for the shoulder screw the diameter you select is the thread diameter and not the shoulder diameter

Please note that for the flat-head screw, the length you select is the total length of the screw from the top of the head to the bottom
