Renishaw Additive Add-In for Autodesk® Fusion®
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Please note that you need to have access to a license of QuantAM or QuantAM API and have QuantAM running on the same computer. To obtain a license, please contact Renishaw.
Steps:
- Run Fusion
- Go to the Extension dialog and gain access to the "Manufacturing Extension"
- Load this Add-In (see "Additional Information" section)
- Open an existing Design or create a new Component in the "Design" Workspace
- Navigate to the 3D Print Tab > Create Renishaw Setup.
- Select your Build Module and Parameter Set and define the number of copies you want to print.
- Click "OK," and the additive setup will automatically be created.
Once the additive setup is created and part arrangement and duplication actions are complete, you will see a new panel named RENISHAW on the Additive tab with 3 commands.
1) Renishaw Configuration:
- Tempus Presets can be reviewed for reference or the parameters can be freely set when the custom preset is selected. These parameters will be included in the .RENAM file that can be exported later (currently, only RenAM 500Q machines support TEMPUS technology).
2) Export Toolpath File:
- The Add-In will automatically detect the printer you have selected in your additive setup and set the export format (.MTT or .RENMAM). For .RENAM, you can select your TEMPUS preset and define the multi-laser mode. For .MTT, you can enable/disable multi-laser and select the multi-laser mode.
3) Build Time Estimate Calculation:
- Import any .MTT or .RENAM file and calculate the estimated build time for this job. The calculation is performed by accessing QuantAM's build time model through the QuantAM API.

- OR, rerun the installer and select the "Uninstall" button.
