How to use UTS Apply Offset

1. Start the Imāginārivs UTS Offset command available within the "Modify" tab once the app is loaded in Autodesk® Fusion®.

2. Select one or more faces to which the offset will be applied.

3. Define the printing parameters (nozzle diameter, material, and fit type).

4. Optionally adjust the additional offset value and/or reverse the offset direction.

5. Use the live preview to review the result.

6. Confirm the operation to apply the offset. 

Once applied, the operation is recorded in the Fusion timeline and can be edited or adjusted later.

Install:

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store has already installed the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the PKG to install the app. 

Unload:

• You can unload the add-in without uninstalling it by clicking the "Stop" button when the add-in is selected in the list box on the "Add-Ins" tab of the "Scripts and Add-Ins" dialog.
• Unchecking "Run on Startup" causes the add-in not to be loaded in future sessions of Fusion.

Uninstall:

• Navigate to/ApplicationsPlugins and select the app you want to uninstall
• Either drag the application icon to the Trash, or right-click and select “Move to Trash.”
• Right-click on the Trash can and select “Empty Trash”.
• If you prefer keystrokes, you can also just select the app bundle and then hit Command+Delete to move the app to Trash, then empty the Trash and the app will be removed.

macOS compatibility

This add-in requires a recent version of Autodesk Fusion with full Offset Faces API support.

Some older Fusion builds on macOS do not expose the required API methods. In those cases, the command will not run and a compatibility notice will be shown.

Please make sure Fusion is up to date before using or purchasing this add-in.
