Cord_Coil_Rope

Cord_Coil_Rope

Win64, English

PICSandPIXELS
Cord, Coil or Rope along a Curve

General Usage Instructions

How to use:

Use the tool in the same way as the sweep- or pipe-tool in Autodesk® Fusion 360™.

First, draw a curve:
Then go to SOLID / CREATE / Create Sketch and select a Plane (screen-center)

Now you are in Sketch-Mode. Go to CREATE / line and draw a curve by arcs and lines or use the spline tool.
Start the Script by typing 'SHIFT S' and selecting Cord_Coil_Rope and Run.

The tool offers three modes:
Coil-Mode draws one wire around your curve, Cord-Mode two and Rope-Mode four wires.
'Thickness' is the strength of each wire and 'Broadness' is the Strength of the whole Coil/Rope.
'Rotations' describe how often each wire spirals around your curve.

Do your selections and press OK.

Finish Sketch (left side of the Menu)
