Automate ISO tolerance calculations (ISO 286, ISO 2768) directly within Autodesk® Fusion®. Get instant deviations for a given dimension and tolerance code.

General Usage Instructions

The ISO Tolerance Calculator add-in runs automatically upon Fusion startup and activation of the first document.

Its intuitive palette will appear on your screen, ready for input.

  1. Launch Fusion.
  2. Once Fusion is fully loaded and a document is active, the ISO Tolerance Calculator palette will automatically appear.
  3. Enter the desired dimension with its tolerance code (e.g., `25H7`, `10js6`, `m25`) into the input field.
  4. The upper deviation, lower deviation, and mean tolerance will instantly be displayed in the results section.
  5. You can freely move the palette anywhere on your screen; its position will be remembered for future sessions after you save any document or close Fusion.

Known Issues

Upon initial startup of Fusion after add-in installation, the palette may not appear immediately until the first document is activated. This is due to Fusion API initialization timing. The palette will automatically display once a document is active.

Palette position saving relies on successful document saving or Fusion closure. Ensure documents are saved regularly for position recall.
