A fast and easy way to install scripts or add-ins directly from GitHub or GitLab repositories.

General Usage Instructions

Follow these steps in Autodesk® Fusion 360®:

  1. Open the Scripts and Add-Ins dialog
  2. Select GitHubToFusion360
  3. Click on "Run"
  4. Copy/paste the URL of the GitHub or GitLab repository to install
  5. Check the information displayed in the dialog
  6. Click OK

Note that you must enter the complete URL of the GitHub or GitLab repository, so it must start with https://github.com/ or with https://gitlab.com/

The script or the add-in is now installed. You need to manually run it from the Scripts and Add-Ins dialog:

  1. Re-open the Scripts and Add-Ins dialog
  2. Select the script or add-in that you installed
  3. Click on "Run"

The script or add-in is ready to be used.

Installation/Uninstallation

Install:

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

Uninstall:

You can unload the add-in without uninstalling it by clicking the "Stop" button when the add-in is selected in the list box on the "Add-Ins" tab of the "Scripts and Add-Ins" dialog.

Unchecking "Run on Startup" causes the add-in not to be loaded in future sessions of Fusion 360.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button.

OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
