Rope Grab Wheel
Mac OS, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Installing the add-in, you find it down under solid/create.
Starting it, a wheel is shown with standard settings and a window to change settings.
Changed settings immediately lead to a new wheel preview.
If you give in parameters that do not fit, a failure message with advice will appear and no wheel will be drawn. Just change the given setting, and the wheel will appear again.
The app draws a useful number of waves around the wheel. With the setting "Rope Flexibility," you can enlarge or reduce this number.
The setting "Make Gear" automatically combines the two pices of the wheel by a 3D-printable gear. If you turn it off, the pices will just be plugged together
The setting "Gap" enlarges or reduces the space between the two parts.
As soon as the previewed wheel meets your demand, press OK.
