A single command is added to the Model Create menu from which Spur Gears, Internal Gears and Rack Gears can be created.
Diametrical Pitch (in English units) or Module (in Metric units), as well as Pressure Angle, Number of Teeth, Root Fillet Radius and Gear Thickness (for extrusion), are common properties for all gear types.
Bore Hole Diameter can be specified for Spur gears; Outer Diameter for Internal gears and Height for Rack gears.
*NEW* The new version 1.1 adds a 'Clearance' property to provide additional backlash clearance.
Numerical values are displayed for pitch circles and heights and sketches for pitch alignment are also provided.
I don't have words to describe this, very complete and it help me for make every gear that i need in my job.

how to change Pitch Diameter?
You can't change the pitch diameter : he is a function of the module and the number of teeth. So, change one of these 2 parameters will modify the pitch diameter. Hope it will help you.

I have yet to get an internal gear to mesh properly with any spur gear having matching parameters. The geometry generaterd for the internals appears to be wrong. The teeth of the internals are well inside the Pitch Diameter circle.
You should email the author with *complete* details about the input parameters used, the results achieved and the results that were expected.

Had to make a simple geartrain demo piece and this fits the bill exactly. Just have to figure out the gear meshing points manually but that's quite easy
The interface isn't the best, but if you know your parameters it works really well. It was easy to install and ran on the first try.

Just installed this app and tried to launch fusion again but got a warning that 'acge226.dll' is missing and i have to do a fresh reinstall of fuision. Proceed with caution.
Aprés avoir téléchargé cette application et aprés un rédemarrage il se trouve bien dans l'onglet créate et aprés son ouverture et la validation sur ok rien ne se passe il ne génère rien .

Trying to add new figure with default parameters, but do nothing. Spyr gears is worked normally. Uninstall twice, restart but not effect. Win7x64.

No complex parameters to get lost. Simple to understand and does a superb job!

I use this for making 3d printed gears and I have always found it easy to use and obtain excellent results.
That is what I intend to use it for too (mainly). Have you done anything with internal gears? The geometry it generates for them seems to be off when you exceed somewhere between 100 and 150 teeth. I'm trying to create planetary gear trains so large numbers there are common.
The module entry has a minimum of 0.5 mm, and the default minimum is entered if you put in anything smaller, so those of us who are designing watch mechanisms , which may use involute gears for some functions, have to make the gear and then subsequently scale the result. This is not stated anywhere, so look out for it.
True, I also had trouble creating a 0.289473 module gear. After finishing, I had to resize with the scale so that it was in the exact size.
Nice tool, really. But I got some strange problem creating gears with module less than 0.5. Any gear with module less than 0.5 appears to be sized exactly as 0.5 gear. Pitch diameter circle is correct, but it is inside the gear.

I was flailing around trying to figure out how to make a gear, and then I found this. Problem solved, and solved easily.
wonderful add-in. love it. stock add-in for spur gear does not have internal gear or racks. only thing this is missing I think is backlash?
There's not much to say, it allows you to create perfect gears in seconds. It's so useful and well made that it should come standard with all products!
just downloaded and installed it (on the latest fusion version) and it works!!! save me so much time!!!! oh my thank you thank you thank you!!!

I think this has something to do with the new UI of Fusion 360.

how can i adjust a tolerance of calculations?
We're very sorry for the inconvenience, we just solved the problem of inserting images when the drawing was georeferenced by Civil3D in the latest CAD-Earth update v5.1.21. The problem was sometimes AutoCAD saved the point location coordinates as latitude/longitude instead of UTM XY coordinates. We've modified the source code to detect when the coordinates in latitude/longitude and do the conversion to XY. We are continuously improving CAD-Earth and fixing bugs reported by our users.
