The app will search by index on the PC, finding the file location in a second. 

Step1: Click the "Where is the file?" App in ribbon to populate the app palette.

Step2: Type file name in the text box or, if you know only extension, you can use (*.ipt) like that. 

Step3: Press Search Button.

Step4: It will list the related files.

Step5: Double click on the required file, to open that file.

NOTE: While installing/uninstalling please make sure that the "Everything" is NOT running in the task tray and needs to be  removed first.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store has already installed the app/plug-in.

You can unload the plugin without uninstalling it by unchecking the "Loaded/Unloaded" check box associated with the plugin in the Inventor Add-In Manager.

You may have to restart Autodesk® Inventor® to completely unload the application.

To remove the plugin completely, Right Mouse Button click and uninstall the application using the Autodesk App Manager tool, located on the Ribbons Tools tab > Options Panel.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button.

OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8/8.1/10) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.

While installing/uninstalling please make sure that the "Everything" is NOT running in the task tray and needs to be  removed first.

NOTE:

1) On launching Inventor you will be prompted a warning for "xxMFxx.exe", please click "yes" to continue.

2) Everytime you run a search "xxMFxx.exe" will execute and since it is not digitally signed it will promt you with a security warning, please click "yes" to continue.
