
Project Holes
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Install the register-free addin to computer;
Open an assembly in Inventor. The assembly must include at least two unique parts;
Click the "Project Holes" command under the "3D Model" tab;
Choose the intended hole or cut feature you want to make to part B (base part) in the input dialog form;
Pick a planar face on part B (base part) which will accept the projecting hole.
Pick an edge of a hole-like feature with a closed edge loop (such as hole, elongated hole, square cut) in part A. A new through-all hole (cut) feature as per your choise will be generated in part B (base part).
Continue picking close-loop edge in part A to create a hole(cut) in part B.
Press Esc to finish (or right click then click "Done [Esc]" button to finish).

Installation/Uninstallation
After downloading this addin from Autodesk App Store, simply double-click "Project Holes.msi" installer to install the addin. The addin will install in the folder "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins".
To uninstall this addin, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
