Project holes or cuts from closed-loop edges of part A to part B (base part):

Install the register-free addin to computer;

Open an assembly in Autodesk® Inventor®. The assembly must include at least two unique parts;

Click the "Project Holes" command under the "3D Model" tab;

Choose the intended hole or cut feature you want make to part B (base part) in the input dialog form;

Pick a planar face on part B (base part) which will accept the projecting hole.

Pick an edge of a hole-like feature with a closed edge loop (such as hole, elongated hole, square cut) in part A. A new through-all hole (cut) feature as per your choise will be generated in part B (base part).

Continue picking close-loop edge in part A to create a hole(cut) in part B.

Press Esc to finish (or right click then click "Done [Esc]" button to finish).

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
