Extension which creates an additional submenu in context menu (right-click menu). In this submenu a few extra commands are available. Each of them can be activated or deactivated in the settings.

AVAILABLE COMMANDS:

Open Containing Folder - Opens the folder where the file is saved. In the event when the file is not saved to disk, nothing will happen.

Copy Folder Path to Clipboard - Copies path of current selected file to clipboard without filename.

Copy File Path to Clipboard - Copies path of current selected file to clipboard with filename and extension.

Clone File - Saves a file as new copy in the same folder as source file. Filename is enter by the user. Possibility to copy with drawing and replaced referenced inside the drawing.

Clone and Open File - The same as above but this time the cloned file will be opened in Autodesk® Inventor®.

Clone and Replace File - The option will clone the file and replace the original with the cloned. This command is available only when the Assembly document is an active document.

Each command has a check box in the setting window. The checked box will show the command in the submenu. In situations where all are unchecked, the submenu will not be displayed in the context menu. Moreover, position of the submenu can be adjusted by value of index.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You can unload the plugin without uninstalling it by unchecking the "Loaded/Unloaded" check box associated with the plugin in the Autodesk® Inventor® Add-In Manager. You may have to restart Inventor to completely unload the application.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel/Programs and Features' (Windows 10/11), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.

Note: Autodesk® Inventor LT® does not support third party add-ins.
