General Usage Instructions

A new Panel with name Toolbox will be created on standard Ribbon Tab with several commands related to each specific environment.

Nodes highlight

Highlight of all browser nodes matching the type of the selected node

Occurrences Parameter edit

You can dynamically edit occurrences parameters. When a parameter is edited all occurrences related to this parameter are recalculated.

Browser nodes separator

By this command you can insert a "separator node" to better organize your nodes

Caliper

You can dynamically calculate the thickness of a 3D part at a specific point. The thickness is calculated along the surface normal direction at a specific point.

XRay

You can dynamically section a 3D and/or create a 2D sketch with a section of a 3D part at a specific point.

Derived part replacer

By this command you can replace the base part of a derived part.

Mass control

You can see the mass of a full assembly or of a single occurrence. All of the information will be visualized by using a table and/or a graph

Manage objects visibility

Switches WorkFeatures and Sketch visibility of occurrences.

Most used commands

By this command Toolbox will show you most used commands when you right click the mouse.

MWT

Minimum wall thickness calculation. This command checks whether a particular minimum thickness was observed during modeling.

XRay

You can dynamically section a 3D and/or create a 2D sketch with a section of a 3D part at a specific point.

Flat pattern viewer

By this command you can quickly analyze the flat pattern of a sheetmetal part.

Faces selection

Faces selection by appearance. Selects a group of faces of the same appearance. Select a face with a MODIFIED appearance and all the concatenated faces with the same appearance will be selected.

Center marks by window (Drawing)

You can create centermarks by selectiong holes with a window selection

Autosave

Handling of autosave for modified documents. You can set an autosave interval and you can check the status of each document.

Nodes isolation

Isolation of all browser nodes matching the type of the selected node

Open explorer and select

Open filesystem explorer at document position and select the document

Show/hide Inventor objects

By this command you can quickly switch the visibility of several types of Autodesk® Inventor® objects by selecting an object and use the mini-toolbar command

Advanced iProperties

You can see iProperties of current file or, if you are in Assembly Environment, you can dynamically see iProperties of Assembly Parts.

Reset nodes behavior

Reset the original behavior of all browser nodes

Advanced Edges selection

By this command you can select concatenated edges on a face. You can select 2 edges and, if a face common to these two edges is found, all concatenated edges will be selected. You can as well select an edge and one face. If a face with 1 single loop is selected then the entire loop is automatically selected.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store has already installed the app/plug-in.

You can unload the plugin without uninstalling it by unchecking the "Loaded/Unloaded" check box associated with the plugin in the Inventor Add-In Manager.

You may have to restart Inventor to completely unload the application.

To remove the plugin completely, Right Mouse Button click and uninstall the application using the Autodesk App Manager tool, located on the Ribbons Tools tab > Options Panel.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button.

OR, you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8/8.1/10) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
