iCable Professional add-in allows Autodesk® Inventor® users to easily and quickly CREATE and EDIT cables, wires, hoses, tubes, and pipes directly in Assembly with components' geometrical references.

General Usage Instructions

Open an assembly in Inventor. All iCable Professional commands can be found under the ribbon tab "iCable".

Click command for type of cable you want to create or edit, follow input dialog instruction or mouse tip prompt or right-click context menu. It is straightforward to nevigate to have the cable done.

Commands

Installation/Uninstallation

After you download the add-in from the Autodesk App Store, simply double-click the downloaded installer (iCable_Professional.msi) to install the add-in. The add-in will install as in the folder "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\iCable\".
 
To uninstall this add-in, exit the Autodesk product if it is currently running, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. Alternatively, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall it as you would for any other application.
 
If you have another version of iCable Professional or another iCable product such as iCable(basic) already in your computer, you have to uninstall the old one first and then run the new installer for the new version.
 
You need to login your Autodesk Account and connect to Internet to use the add-in.
