After downloading and installing the eStairs add-in, you must open an existing or new assembly file. The eStairs panel will appear in the assemble ribbon of the assembly work environment.

With the first four buttons, you can select the type of part you are going to place. From left to right, this is a staircase, a handrail, a step ladder and the fourth is a cage ladder. The fifth button is used to adjust parts that have already been placed.

Click on one on the buttons of the panel to start inserting the parts. The window to configure a part will open at the top left corner of the graphical screen.

Configure the part and click the place button.

The Inventor will ask you to select a floor to start from.

The part will be created and placed on the floor.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plugin from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plugin. Or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

The eStairs software will not store any of the user's personal information or send it to others.

After downloading eStairs from the Autodesk App Store, the user is free to use this version.
