- After launching the exe, you will see the AutoCalcs app dialog;

- On AutoCalcs Calculation tab, open an AutoCalcs calculation that is created for an associated Inventor model file;

- Perform the calculation, change values or units as needed; Click Save Quantities button at the bottom of the calculation page to save the data to the memory;

- Switch to the Main tab and check the status of Inventor. Open the 3D model file if needed. For the sample calculations, associated models can be downloaded from the calculation page.

- Click Map Parameters button to setup mapping between Inventor parameters and Calculation PQs. Previous setup will appear in the mapping window automatically.

- In the Mapping Window, Inventor's user parameters and calculation PQs will be listed in separate tables. Pick from the dropdown list the PQ symbol to be mapped for the intended Inventor parameter.

- !!! Only map PQs that are intended to !!!

- Click the Apply button to confirm mappings.

- Mapped info will be listed in the table in the main window.

- When ready, click the Update 3D Model button to pass AutoCalcs data to update the 3D model.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plugin from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plugin. Or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application.

• This free version allows users to use provided calculations and models to see how Inventor 3D models can be re-sized by AC3D Bridge app. Users can not create their own calculations yet.
• In Inventor Parameters (fx), the Comment field is used to track the mapping relationship between Inventor parameters and AutoCalcs PQs data. Changing that will affect the data flow.
• A paid version that allows users to create their own AutoCalcs style calculations easily will be published soon.
