Description

With the Sheet List Add-in, you can create a Sheet List for a drawing document.

The table will be placed on the active sheet in the drawing document and you can place the table where you like.

The table can be updated after sheets are added, removed, renamed, or re-organized.  If there is already a Sheet List present on the first sheet, the app will reuse the table and not create a new one.

For information about how to use the add-in's API, visit the Sheet List GitHub repository.

  • great tool

It is a very good table for creating a drawing index in an Inventor IDW package. However, its configuration currently applies globally to all packages. For example, if I want to add the title "Package A Drawing Index" to the table for Package A, and "Package B Drawing Index" for Package B, it doesn't work as expected—it only shows the last one used.

I suggest that the sheet list should be an individual list for each drawing package, allowing different titles and column configurations per package.

We use this on all our drawings. It puts a sheet (drawing) list on the first sheet and acts as an index! Highly recommended.
