Easy Stairs is a free application for Autodesk® Inventor®. 

The application makes it possible to place stairs and ladders in an assembly.

You can start the executable file from any location and there.

 

Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).

    Wow, what a cute little program, I love it! Unfortunately when I ask for a 3.5 m staircase, I get a 3 m one instead. Not sure where the problem lies?

    Something must have gone wrong on your end because I have this second d/loaded and used the app and the height function is working. Hope you get it fixed.

    The problem seems to be fixed. I use the drop down list height list and then the correct height is achieved. I haven't tried it with random height inputs that aren't on the list, say like 2.35 m. But I'll try that experiment a bit later. Other than that, I still love this little program :-)

    Thank you for a great app, if i had to pick fault then it would be that the Ladders (what we use the most) don't appear to be fully complient with spec BS EN ISO 14122-4.

    Easy Stairs wont work if the project path is not complete. To be able to work with Easy stairs it is necessary to work in a valid project. Easy stairs does not work in the default projects. You need to create a new project and make sure the project has a valid project path. If you follow the method of inventor while creating the project, everything happens automatically. When you start Easy stairs you will see that the project path is complete. Kind regards.
