Publish sheets in Sheet Sets and other drawings with layouts to files like PDF, DWF, PNG, or JPG/JPEG and have the files created named as you want based on a naming formula that you specify.

General Usage Instructions

+ Run JTBBatchPublish from the command line or from the Add-ins/Plug-Ins Ribbon tab panel.

+ Click "Open Sheet Set" to choose a Sheet Set dst file. The Sheet Set content will be shown in the Sheet Set View panel.

+ Click on each sheet to view its properties (in the 2nd panel). Properties are: drawing path, layout, sheet name, sheet number, description, etc. Custom properties are included as well. These properties are used to compose output filename

+ On the "Output Filename Formula" box, right-click to insert fields from a popup menu. Note: Once publish runs, the formula will be saved to a list also on this popup menu. Then in the next runs, you can just pick a saved formula.

+ Output filename formula can have: custom text; fields ([Sheet Name], [Revision Number] etc); and current date fields.

+ Syntax of field is "[Field name]". But better you can get it quickly by click to "Insert fields" menu in the popup.

+ If "Preview Output Filename" is checked, while composing a formula, the Sheet Set view panel will show updated output file names in real-time

+ You can choose an alternative Plotter, Plot Style, and Paper Size

+ Choose an output folder. You can check "Create folders for subsets". It will create a folder hierarchy similar to the subset hierarchy, then publish files there.

+ Don't forget to select sheets in the Sheet Set View panel

+ When everything is ready, click the "Publish" button

From version 2.2, the app supports opening multiple sheet sets, drawings, folders of drawings, and dsd files.

From version 3.0, the app supports publishing multi-sheet PDF files.

From version 4.0, besides layouts, the app can publish title blocks. Also, the attributes of the title block are shown in the Properties panel for you to compose the output file name.

At the top left corner, there are Open, New, Save, and Save As buttons for the working session. You can save the whole working session to a file and reopen it later. The working session file is automatically saved unless you close the working session by clicking the button "Close Current Working Session Without Save"
