Attribute updater for Current/multiple files.

General Usage Instructions

Batch Attribute: - Add files to the list and click Next to continue. You can get the block names by selecting the Get Block button.

  • Click on the ribbon icon ‘Batch Attribute’.
  • The Attribute Editor dialog box will appear.
  • Click on the ‘Add Files’ button to add the dwg files & the 'Clear' button will remove the already added dwg files from the editor.
  • Click on the ‘Next’ button.
  • Then Multi DWG attribute editor dialog will appear
  • Click on the ‘Get Block’ button to get the block names.
  • The blocks will be listed under the dropdown list.
  • Select the desired block then it will display all information associated with the block.
  • The block attribute data in the CVS file can be exported/imported using the ‘Export CVS’ & ‘Import CSV’ buttons.
  • After importing CSV click on the Update button to reflect the changes in the details.


Attribute Update: - After selecting the correct block you can see the attribute values in the table. You can edit and update it.

  • Open the drawing file which contains attributes.
  • Click on the ribbon icon ‘Attribute Update’.
  • An ‘Attribute Updater’ dialog box will appear.
  • Select the Block from the dropdown list.
  • The block attribute data in the CSV file can be exported/imported using the ‘Export CSV’ & ‘Import CSV’ buttons.
  • Edit the Attribute values and click on the ‘Update’ button.
  • The changes will reflect in the opened drawing file.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
