Maya 2023 has a bunch of Security Preferences enabled by default,
Is this the same thing ?
Or should we integrate it into our workflow as an add-on ?
Please advise?

thank u so much <3
我也安装了这个的 安全插件。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。
直接安装这个插件就可以了吗?
Hi there, does the maya security tools get rid of the Trojan Chinese virus, meaning cleaning the file, preventing it to infect your user.py and stops it from duplicating itself? Cheers
it does prevent it from spreading further by detecting the infected code and stopping it from working at that moment. But it cannot clean it if your scene has external references.
Yes it worked for me, I'm using maya 2019.
Is this now integrated into Maya as default in 2021 and 2022?
maya 2021 doesn't exist 2022 has more options for default plugin behaviour / script execution, not sure yet if this completely replaces security tools. it doesn't show up in the plugins window though
good!
