Additional Information

Note about RPC_Family.rft:

When the RPC Plug-in for Revit is installed a necessary file for RPC usage is placed into a default Family Templates folder:

(ie. C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RAC 2016\Family Templates\English_I).

If this path is changed under Options-->File Locations-->Default path for family template files:  the RPC Plug-in will not work unless the file, RPC_Family.rft,  is copied into the new path.

Known Issues

Drag & Drop images from Dashboard Viewport into AutoCAD

We're aware of an issue where when attempting to drag and drop images while using the Viewport mode of Dashboard. Viewport mode can be used to generate a render of the RPC asset. That rendering can typically be brought into AutoCAD via drag & drop. Once the rendered image is in AutoCAD and you try to render a different RPC asset AutoCAD crashes the Dashboard with the following error “Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation”.  This is cause is an AutoCAD conflict that exists when Dashboard is trying access and modify images under Admin folders.
