First, draw your 3D framing lines based on the insertion point for the wood you want to extrude the beam or column along. Next, open the Wood Beams 3D Main dialog. Select the Wood Framing member required from the drop-down list or type in the width and height of the member. Typing in a Width and Height overrides any Wood Member selection from the drop-down list. Select the number of Wood members to be extruded single, double, or triple. Then select the member insertion point. Click OK, you are now prompted to Select the lines for the Wood members to be extruded along. Select them individually or by crossing the group of lines. NOTE: Only lines will be included in the selection. You should now see all the Wood members as 3D solids along all the selected lines.
