설명
ArcGIS for Autodesk® AutoCAD® brings GIS to CAD professionals through the creation, collaboration, and managed editing of ArcGIS data in AutoCAD and Autodesk® Civil 3D®. With this plug-in, design professionals such as civil engineers, surveyors, and CAD technicians leverage ArcGIS feature layers, maps, and imagery to make better-informed design decisions. Design professionals not only consume GIS data in desktop CAD applications but also, data created within those environments are incorporated back into the systems of record. Better interoperability helps streamline productivity by adding CAD users to workflows for creating and maintaining GIS data using their familiar CAD editing tools.
Benefits of ArcGIS for AutoCAD:
- Use your own organization’s ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise content and data from ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World to inform your CAD drawings with geospatial context. Gain a geospatial understanding of your design project surroundings.
- Use GIS data in Autodesk while GIS users simultaneously work with the same data in ArcGIS, ensuring synchronization across both platforms.
- Provide your GIS team with CAD drawings that are compatible with ArcGIS software. These CAD drawings, enhanced with GIS attributes, can be used as a data source within the ArcGIS system.
- Leverage advanced GIS data management tools in your Autodesk design environment without extensive ArcGIS proficiency. ArcGIS for AutoCAD seamlessly integrates GIS into CAD workflows, providing you with self-service access to GIS content.
Latest enhancements:
- A significant enhancement includes added support for branch versioning on web feature layers with supporting user interface changes, AutoLISP routines, and commands. This enhancement allows GIS users and administrators to adhere to common patterns across the stages of branch versioning workflows.
- ArcGIS Indoors transforms CAD data into indoor maps for space management and wayfinding. The ArcGIS Indoors for AutoCAD extension helps prepare CAD floor plan drawings for use in ArcGIS Indoors workflows. Perform quality control workflows and analyze CAD data issues such as unclosed shape entities, self-intersecting polylines, and mislabeling.
- When an Esri coordinate system definition is assigned to a drawing, layers subsequently added through feature services will be properly positioned to that assigned coordinate system regardless of the coordinate system of the source data. For those who are automating customized CAD workflows using AutoLISP, datum transformation functions were added to make transformations explicit
