Online workflow BCF Manager
- Start Navisworks
- Load the model(s) for which you want to create or review issues in Navisworks
- Choose the BIMcollab tab in the ribbon
- Click on the BCF manager icon to open the BIMcollab BCF manager pop-up window
- If you are a first time user, you first need to Activate your BCF Manager
- Connect to a project on BIMcollab Nexus from the BCF Manager
- If there are already issues present in the project you connect to, they will be displayed in the issue list
- Create new issues manually, or import issues from clashes and saved viewpoints in Navisworks
- Select issues in the issue list to see their details.
- When an issue is selected, you can quickly edit it, or add a new comment to it
- Double-click the issue to zoom into its viewpoint in the model in Navisworks
- When you have made all the necessary changes, synchronize the project to BIMcollab Nexus, to share the issues with your team members
Offline workflow BCF Manager (Creating, importing and exporting issues offline)
It is advised to always use the BCF Manager with an online workflow by connecting to BIMcollab Nexus. If this is not possible, you can create, import and export issues as BCF files to exchange them with the rest of your project team.
- Open the BCF Manager in your preferred application.
- To start a whole new project, select 'New offline project'.
- If you already have a BCF file to start the project, choose 'Import BCF File'. The issues from the file will be imported. You can find an example BCF file on our website.
- Press the '+' button and start creating new issues, or click the pencil button to edit existing issues.
- When you are ready to export the issues to a BCF file, hit the Save button.

Installation/Uninstallation
Install or uninstall the BCF Manager according to standard procedures.
- Unpack the zip file
- Double click the file to start the installation process
- Follow the instructions on your screen
Uninstall the BCF Manager from your computer as you would uninstall any other application from your system (via the add/remove menu).

The new Navisworks add-on offers a much better visual display of issues by their snapshots. With three possible snapshot-sizes and resizable panel-width users can choose how to use the available screen size. Also the issue history with comments is visually enhanced with their linked snapshots. Extended filtering options You can now filter issues on all properties. Especially when working in large projects with lots of issues it is much easier to keep an overview and find the issues to work on. Navisworks The way issues are created from clash detective or saved viewpoints is improved. It now supports workflows where users have their own model-coloring for disciplines or classifications. When the use of colors is switched off, model-colors are not reset when creating issues nor when zoom to issues.
