Viewpoint To PDF – User Instructions:

How to Use?

Step 1: Launch the Plugin

• Open your Navisworks project.
• Click on the vConstruct tab 

Step 2: Add/Update Issue Data through Log Issue

• The plugin will display all available saved viewpoints.
• Select a viewpoint to view its current issue data.
• Fill in or update the issue fields (e.g., Description, other fields).
• Click Update Saved Viewpoint to apply updates. 

Step 3: Apply Settings

• You can define project details and other issue data fields
• The issue data fields will be displayed in pdf report accordingly to the settings
• Image Quality can also be set. 

Step 4: Load Template

• Click the Template button.
• You can load a local template in pdf format only
• The space for saved viewpoint images and legends can be defined. 

Step 5: Generate Report

• Click the Generate Report button.
• Choose whether to add plan view
• Pick the issue saved viewpoints to be printed
• Select number of images (saved viewpoints) per page
• Click on Generate Report
• Choose the desired file location and name.
• You can see the pdf report. 

Step 6: View Statistics

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
