  • Works great!
    Felix Mena | October 06, 2017

It works excellent! To all of you who cannot see the properties from SP3D in the Navis enviroment, you should try selecting all the way up to the first element of the tree. Let's assume you are selecting a pipe, Navis selects the first object, in this case it is the Geometry or the Insulation of the pipe. If you look at the selection tree, you can select the element PIPE, which includes the insulation and geometry. Doing this should display the properties correctly in the properties tabs. Also you can check if the SP3D properties were loaded correctly by going to Options > Interface > Quick Properties > Definitions and trying to add a quick property to the list. If there is a "SmartPlant 3D" option in the Category selection list, you can be sure that SP3D properties where loaded correctly. Greetings!

  • 2018?

When will be available for NAviswork 2018?

  • Cannot see attributes
SANG HYUN (KEVIN) PARK | June 20, 2017

Can load 3D model successfully but cannot see the attributes even thought i palced mdb2 and vue with same name in same folder.

    Valentina Dyachkova | August 16, 2017

The objects have properties. Only they are located on a separate tab "SmartPlant3D". But there are two nuances. First, when creating a review, there should be labels that transfer these properties to a .vue file; secondly, properties have only smart objects, the geometry lying on the lowest level of the object does not have such properties, and therefore the "SmartPlant3D" tab in this case not visible.

  • Inserted AutoCAD file's cylinder shapes issue and attribute issue
    WASEEM AKHTAR | March 30, 2017

Dear Sir, Thank you very much to you and your team for making this plugin. Everything are coming perfect except following two concern. 1) We have inserted AutoCAD file in SP3D and making SPR combining with other SP3D objects. Objects are proper visualized in SmartPlant Review but in Navisworks manage all cyliner shape of inserted AutoCAD file are coming as box in blue colour. When we are opening same AutoCAD file directly in Navisworks Manage shapes are coming proper. 2) Although we are opening .vue file with .mdb2 generated with SPR, we are unable to see the properties. vue and mdb2 files have same name and are placed in same location. Please let us know if we are missing some steps. Thanks in advance.
