After installation, the package is located in the path: “C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2026 Content\Cpak Steam Python Content Pack”. Replace 2025 with your current Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D™ version

Step 1: Open Plant 3D Spec Editor (run as administrator) and open the file “Steam Python Content Pack - Metric/Imperial.pcat”

Step 2: Add the component from the catalog to your current spec or use the existing spec file.

Step 3: Open any drawing and run the command PLANTREGISTERCUSTOMSCRIPTS

Step 4: Restart Plant 3D

After installation, the package is located in the path: “C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2026 Content\CPak Steam Python Content Pack”

To uninstall this content pack, please go to Control Panel => Programs and Features => select the "Steam Python Content Pack" => Uninstall
