The app lets users select an area to cut and zoom in or out. It supports cutting lines, polylines, arcs, hatches, blocks, text, dimensions, attribute blocks, and more.

General Usage Instructions

The app allows users to select an area containing objects to be cut. After cutting, it enables zooming in or out on the selected area. It supports cutting all objects, including lines, polylines, arcs, hatches, blocks, text, dimensions, attribute blocks, and more.

Steps to Use Quick Cut Zoom in Autodesk® AutoCAD®:
 
Step 1: Access the Quick Cut Zoom menu on the AutoCAD Ribbon.
 
Step 2: Select Quick Cut Zoom (or use the shortcut command CZO in the AutoCAD command line).
 
Step 3: Select the area to be zoomed in or out.
 
Step 4: Enter the command S -> Press Enter.
 
Step 5: Enter a number greater than 1 to zoom in on the selected area, or a number less than 1 to zoom out.
 
Step 6: Choose the placement point for the cut detail on the drawing.
 
Note: This tool works with all objects, including lines, polylines, arcs, hatches, blocks, text, dimensions, attribute blocks, and more.

Run the command CZO to launch the app in AutoCAD

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. or, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
